We are pleased to announce that we are having a breed specialist, Mrs Roz Dunne from the UK and a terrier specialist, Mr S O'Connor from QLD to judge our Championship Show and Open Show respectively this year.

Open Show

Judge: Mr S O'Connor (QLD) - Breed and General Specials

Judging: Commences at 4:00pm with Baby Puppy Dog

                 Handlers to be judged at the end of the open show

Classes: 1(1a), 2(2a), 3(3a), 4(4a), 5(5a), 10(10a), 11(11a), 12(12a),

              Neuter 16 & 18

Handlers Classes: Tiny Tots (toy dog supplied), Junior (10-13, 13-17) and Adult

Championship Show

Judge: Mrs R Dunne (UK) - Breed, property class and General Specials

Judging: Commences at 6:30pm with Baby Puppy Dog

Classes: 1(1a), 2(2a), 3(3a), 4(4a), 5(5a), 10(10a), 11(11a), 12(12a),

              Neuter 16 & 18

Property Classes: Best Head, Coat, Tail, Movement &, Brace

Eligibility to enter shows:

Exhibitors must be financial members of the CCCQ or another controlling body recognized by the CCCQ to exhibit a registered dog in Championship Show.

Dogs which are registered on the Main Register are eligible to enter the Open Show even though the owner is not a financial member of the CCCQ.

Dogs which are registered on the Limited Register are not eligible to enter the Conformation Shows (including both Open and Championship Show).

No entry will be accepted for an unregistered dog.

Note:

All remittances to be in favour of "The West Highland White Terrier Club of QLD"

     Instructions for filling out show entry forms

  • NB: Top 6 lines of entry form refer to your dog, then your personal details below.

  • Step 1. Find your Certificate of Registration and Pedigree
  • Step 2. If entering more than two classes photocopy entry form supplied.
  • Step 3. Fill out entry form using your Certificate of Registration and Pedigree.
  • Step 4. A separate entry form for every class entered and every male & female dog is required.
  • Step 5. When forms complete write out cheque or obtain money order for the total and attach to entry forms and mail to address shown below.


    Classes to enter

  • Class 1 “Baby Puppy Dog” – for dogs of three and under six months of age.
  • Class 1a “Baby Puppy Bitch” – for bitches of three and under six months of age.
  • Class 2 “Minor Puppy Dog” – for dogs of six and under nine months of age.
  • Class 2a “Minor Puppy Bitch” – for bitches of six and under nine months of age.
  • Class 3 “Puppy Dog” – for dogs of six and under twelve months of age.
  • Class 3a “Puppy Bitch” – for bitches of six and under twelve months of age.
  • Class 4 “Junior Dog” – for dogs of nine and under eighteen months of age.
  • Class 4a “Junior Bitch” – for bitches of nine and under eighteen months of age.
  • Class 5 “Intermediate Dog” – for dogs of eighteen months of age and under thirty–six months of age.
  • Class 5a “Intermediate Bitch” – for bitches of eighteen months of age and under thirty–six months of age.
  • Class 10 “Australian–bred Dog” – for dogs six months of age or over whelped in Australia.
  • Class 10a “Australian–bred Bitch” – for bitches six months of age or over whelped in Australia.
  • Class 11 “Open Dog” – for all dogs six months of age or over of any breed recognised by the Australian National Kennel Council.
  • Class 11a “Open Bitch” – for all bitches six months of age or over of any breed recognised by the Australian National Kennel Council
  • Class 12/12a “Veteran” – for entire veterans
  • Class 16 Junior Neuter - for neuter dogs and bitches aged nine and under eighteen months.
  • Class 18 Open Neuter - for neuter dogs and bitches aged six months or over.
  • “BRACE” For two dogs six months of age or over of the same breed, the property of the same owner, each of which has competed in at least one breed class at the same exhibition, which are handled in the judging ring by the one person.
  • Property Classes - Cost $5.00
    Best Head, Best Coat, Best Tail, Best Movement, Best Brace.
